My problem with these stories about AI is that its not the AI doing a bad job. AI is just a tool. If you use a tool foolishly, it will not work. AI is very useful to write rough drafts; but NEVER as a final, unmonitored project. It is ABSURD to take something output by chatGPT and submit it as final. Thats like doing 2 of the 10 steps and saying you are done. Its frustrating because AI is profoundly useful, yet instead of using if effectively; we humans use it to try to do the absolute minimum.
