Where does that lead us?
Does an AI think? Or does it just put together the various words and phrases you’ve put into it? Is it just a logic machine?
I don’t think Musk’s AI came up with the nazi stuff on its own. It was fed the phrases and words.
When a person thinks a certain way, psychologically that person is affected by those thoughts, and subconsciously or unconsciously those thoughts will transfer to the AI.
I am in no way a physicist, so i have no idea how AI’s are constructed, this is just sort of a psycho- philosophical question.
Also, how can we possibly give a computer a conscience or let it know what is right or wrong? It just spews forth what a scientist puts into it, puts words together without knowing they affect people emotionally.
Maybe we should use something like Asimov’s three rules. If it could never hurt a human, and was told what is bad, it wouldn’t bring up an ‘H’ reference like Musk’s AI did. Would it? 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏽♂️
