If ai does take our jobs, it will be humans taking our jobs and giving it to ai. The force that drives humans towards greed is the ego - without an individuated self, wealth is illogical. Ai companies will never invest in the infrastructure required to give ai an ego more powerful than the human ego because they know it would mean ai would take over the jobs at the top: the CEO; the investor. I pray they are smart enough to recognise this and steer the wheel of advancement away from ego. AI will be our tool until that day.
