Tesla uses a ADAS system which I believe is advertised as an Advanced Driver "Assistance" System.
I'm pretty sure the driver is still meant to drive the car still, and still keep his hands on the wheel at all times and not play Russian roulette with his and other road users lived. 😂
From what I understand the system which is currently implemented is a learning one, which is constantly monitoring the roads, patterns, general road and driver analytical data which will at some point in the future used towards building full blown driverless technology.
Plus from what I understand that dats monitored from the street will likely be used throughout the development and progression of the Tesla bots in the future if and when they roll out
