Yeah nah lawyers makes absolutely no sense. You hire a lawyer to protect you in court. You win a case in court through solid evidence and argumentation (depends a little on the country, but in the US very much so).
AI cannot create convincing arguments and bring them in a convincing way to a judge, you'd have to turn the entire legal system into AI (and who would trust an AI judge, created by the government in this day and age lol).
Even big companies don't hire a lawyer because they know every single law in existence (hint: they don't), they hire a lawyer because they want someone with professional legal knowledge who is able to offer you a solution and try to make that solution a reality in court.
I would really like to know what the 44% is based on to be honest
