I keep hearing that it's coming soon. But so far nothing. I hear the hype of what AI will be, mostly based on incorrect mental models of what LLMs are, and a complete lack of awareness of their limitations. There is A LOT of hype and misinformation, and companies are even using AI as an excuse for layoffs that have nothing to do with AI (it makes investors happy to hear it's for efficiency not downsizing).
