There is a tremendous amount of detail behind a person taking his or her life, and filing it down to a ChatGPT or AI conversation is not responsible. There are many, many details leading up to it during a long period of time. People need to go wayyyy above and beyond to support the individual in a world where everyone is spending their lives focused on social media and their own interests. Parents of adult children: get involved. Don’t ever fall for the lie that the adult child is over 18, so you can’t or shouldn’t get involved. Child lives too far away? Then GO to be with them. Get help for that adult child. Spend your time away from social media and other interests, and GET INVOLVED. In a loving way.
