The part that upsets me the most is that AI has an immense equalizing potential, to enable small studios to produce animated movies and videogames with quality comparable to multi-billion dollar studios and it's largely the people who benefit most from it fighting against it, and it would onlt benefit large companies that are going to be the only ones with pockets deep enough to pay the royalties they are demanding for using data trained on art found online. They are being duped into thinking they're being protected when they're only feeding the beast that will destroy them when large studios lay off much of their artist staff.
