AI isn't going to cause the spike in unemployment, if it comes. It will simply be the will of our corporate overlords desperately wanting AI to reduce their overhead costs. It doesn't work, the product is shit, but so many billionaires are so deeply invested that they can't be convinced that it's shit.
We need to reclaim the levers of government and tax these morons out of existence, or these cutting edge technologies will only be used to further insulate the mega rich from the masses
