Rubbish, how can you have understanding without learning? There is a qualitative difference between remembering an answer gpt has given you, and actually understanding that answer. Guaranteed the majority of people in the LLM group were just relying on memorizing the answers rather than understanding them, which is why EEG results showed lower brain activity and weaker connectivity - they weren't actually understanding. Did the study control for this - bet it didn't!
And obviously if these people spent months processing information this way, the brain would show reduced levels of activity following. But how long were they followed up for; many months later, or just weeks - bet it was the latter. This is rubbish data and poor content generated for views not value 🥕head
