I'm probably biased because I'm a learning mediocre artist myself but this AI thing popping off right as I decided this is the field I want to get into is very depressing. Also I don't know how anyone else feels but I personally think the idea of a program making "art" is a bit 'soulless' and contradictory to the entire point and what makes art special. (If it was like a sentient android or something drawing I think that would be a different conversation.)
