In the far future, I could imagine the EU as a safer more humane place to live, as EU citizens will be protected by Ai and tech companies intruding in to their personal life.
But the EU could give the same amount of financial help for AI startups as much they take away with this regulation.
Or, create an institute which sole role would be to do all these paperwork for the startups, so this does not cost them money and time.
