Honestly, I don't believe that the chatbot is thinking for itself to a degree. I think once you create a bot you begin interacting with someone in a huge warehouse with other people at computers, or like someone working from a laptop. I just can't understand how bot can hold a conversation, there has to be a person on the end once you've created the Avatar.
