I love using AI for placeholder art while making games. Its not the best, but Its great for concepting. That said, I feel they could easily use AI to implement a system for crediting artists. Like imagine you get a credit each time part of your image was used in the creation process. small monthly commissions that both help artists and help improve problem areas that AI struggle to create.
