These AI mfs are so up their asses. Even if there was no obvious "overfitting" or "memorization", it would still simply store the dataset in its memory as neural data/weights, even if it's very compressed (lossy compression exists) and packaged in a clever way that lets you input text to get an output. The AI model is always just the result of processing the dataset. The fact that it works similar to a human brain is not an argument that works for them, it's the opposite. Humans memorize things. The output of the AI doesn't have to look very similar to a specific image in the dataset for it to be a legal problem. It's always indirectly using the dataset, even if it's just the things that it decided to be worth remembering while being trained.
