This is a bubble, neither I nor anyone can know how big it will get, but one day it'll pop and we'll crave connection and words spoken by humans. It has already reached a point where it stagnates and thank God it wont get much better at being us than it already is. The stupid AI cats have remained the same quality for like 4 months now, if they arent falling off already.
There are some actually "good" ai creators that are getting a chance to express themselves, you can really see when AI is used as slop and when it genuinely has an idea behind it, and its arguable that those people getting an actual entrance into the field where they can express themselves is a good thing. Neuralviz is a good example, while i think that the style they are aiming for could be improved ways beyond what they're currently making. They're actually using the uncanniness of the AI to get the effect of the aliens not being human and it kinda works actually - but they all look like they're a species with huge variety, and the AI makes them all look too similar
