Doesn't help that, after trainign off it's own data for so long; AI art has all started to look so boring and samey. Not to mention bad.
I dread the day it becomes mainstream enough that companies actually try to replace most of their artists with this slop, and everything they produce looks like that same plastic-y bland slop.
(Though I also theorize the programs used will eventually stop being quite so cheep/free, once the guys running the servers decide they can't train the AI much more and start needing to actually sell this stuff. And considering the energy consumption, they'd need to sell it for a lot. That'll probably turn a lot of users off I imagine.)
