As easy as it is to make fun of this person, I also feel bad for them. Perfectionism itself is rooted in ableism, and this person was never told that it's okay to start art and have it not be *good*. You don't even have to intend to "further your craft", or whatever. It's okay to just...like art! It's okay to just slam paint onto a canvas just to watch the colors fall! It's okay to slap things together because they looked visually appealing and you liked them! Art does not have to be "good" to be worthy of doing. Ngl a lot of these comments even here kind of highlight the problem: People aren't met with enough compassion, and the moment you stepped out of a social line, you get insults instead of understanding. The lack of empathy is kind of what makes people end up like that commenter in the first place
