What I hate about AI the most is... how it pushed people into cheating, faking, lying. I swear, I never saw dishonesty on such a mass scale. AI bros will try to pass their generated pictures as their own, they'll lie about the process, they'll trick you into thinking it's genuine. The amount of AI slop online flooding the Internet, where it's increasingly difficult to tell fake from truth, is also annoying af. AI bros say that only the product matters, not the method. I came with a counterargument to that. If the method doesn't matter... Why do they come to online spaces and talk to other people? Because they want to talk specifically to other humans, not to bots. If only the act of conversation mattered to them, they'd just go and talk to chatgpt. But they don't care about the conversation itself. They care about WHO they're talking to. They crave human interaction, clashing minds, voicing their opinions, they want to be heard. Bots are already here, chatting with others, and they'll probably get better than they are and there will be more of them. Now, imagine how an AI bro would feel if he realized he spent 30 minutes talking to a bot. He'd be seething, guaranteed.
