I watched to the end and agree that there will be huge widespread job displacement but jobs will open up in new fields. Many thought leaders such as Eric Schmidt, Yoshua Bengio, Elon Musk, Geoffrey Hinton, Ian Bremmer all believe AI will take over the world and cause the majority of people to lose their jobs. They estimate this will happen within the next few years. However the belief that AI will “take over the world” and cause widespread job loss within the next few years is a hypothesis, not a fact. While it’s rooted in real technological advancements and respected opinions, the actual outcomes are still uncertain and highly debated.
