NO THEY DID NOT. They are making outlandish claims because they don't want their jobs taken. Sad! Maybe one day convict voting Muricans will realize that RELIGION has NO PLACE in science, just religious people try to find a place among scientists to corrupt them. Your 'puter isn't a person, mmaky, it can just imitate one pretty well, and you people probably have had little actual human interaction so you take that for human. The big bang is a lie, saying we live in a simulation is just a sneaky way of trying to inject god into every conversation. Fake christians pervert science for money, after they gang up for white privilege to elect a criminal. They want to turn everything into a bible story, a creation story, a 'soul' story, it's just another wedge issue. AI makes very fast use of available data in a way humans cannot because the internet has made lots of data on everything available, and the technology to process and utilize this in real time came along in the form of GPUs, because they were designed parallel low latency computation. It's not creation of sentience. It's technology. Seriously, just stop it. Even if you fool somebody into watching an AD, liking and subscribing, it isn't worth it.
