You know, even if they really wanna run with the idea that generated Ai images is "art", then they need to step back and give the award to the Ai program, because that guy didnt make the image that won him the award or whatever, Ai did he just basically commissioned it.
Ai fanatics that try to say they're artist because they put prompts into an Ai are actually just a customer.
Since Ai technically made the image, then technically speaking, the Ai program is the "artist". Not the prompter. Not the users of Generative Ai. They're consumers
You're not an artist when you commission art from real artists. (Which is like typing your prompt for Ai, but there's a real person you discuss more of what you would like, what you wouldn't like, and whats actually possible for the artist to do, and there's a real soul behind the art. If you want art commission real artists, not Ai)
So you're most certainly not an artist when you type a prompt into an Ai program.
