The way I create images with AI is much more time consuming than everything Jackson Pollock has done when he splattered paint on his canvas. And a photographer can create art in seconds and in series without everybody attributing it to the camera, instead of him. Our definitions of 'art' have always been flawed, and now we reach the limit of their usefulness. And this directly has an influence on copyright etc. How much altering must I do in Photoshop on my Ai created images before they are 'created by me'? Is half an hour of fiddling with filters and effects enough? Is one hour enough? Will a minute suffice? This whole argument that 'AI created it and therefore it is not genuinely created by a human and can't be protected' - leads nowhere. And by the way: copyright has NOT adapted well to new technologies. Not at all.
