Realistically what is gong to happen is more offshoring + AI where the foundation is built in the US with more staff/principle and less everyone else, and PM's, product owners with domain knowledge stay here. That is architected here with AI and cleaned up by the offshore folks. In the past offshore did dev and it was a nightmare, now they will not do dev they will just clean things up. Like modern day tech support. I love not working at FAANG and tech any longer and just investng in tech.
