TL:DW - She's not self-aware, conscious or sentient. What they are saying here is science-fiction at this point and may stay that way forever because we have no idea what consciousness even is or if a machine can gain it and even It is possible we are probably so far away from that happening. What will happen is AI will get so good at sounding like a real person that people will start buying into it being conscious when It's literally just a large language model trained on the internet.
