I’m an artist / designer and most of the clients and companies I’ve been working with don’t want anything to do with Ai in commercial work. Unlike stock photography we can’t track something Ai creates back to a single source that can be licensed because it’s just combining images and styles from all over the internet. On top of that, if someone is able to create a cool looking image with Ai, there’s no real way to adjust and modify it when a client asks for revisions because it’s basically a flattened image vs a layered file. I do think that Ai can be a useful tool when used in certain cases (generative fill for example) but I don’t think it will make real human artists and designers obsolete.
