It is an interesting interview, but it didn't mention the issue of competition with China, which is a big concern of US and EU. What should we do when there is a foe like China, which disregard all the issues we care about, labor exploitation, environmental damage, autonomous weapons, surveillance, magnification of racial discrimination, misinformation, extraction of human creativity? China winning the competition of technology equals death of democracy. That is definitely not a future any of us wants, even the Chinese don't want that.
