The thing is, when many people are creating AI art and just passing it off as their own, that’s the issue. There is no harm in using AI as a reference, but when it takes a specific style from artists that they’ve spent years of training to do while passing it off as their own, it’s theft because the person only had to put in a prompt where even digital art takes hours upon hours. They’ve just basically removed the skill aspect that it takes for it.
