Well, the predictions were meant for robotics. They were supposed to take over the bad jobs from us. Instead AI is here...taken away from the things we LOVE to do. But actually that was obvious...in the creative area you get: a) lots of attention b) few legal or ethical problems c) lots of quick wins, because every idiot can do art with AI d) and endlessly big pool of things to steal from that are not protected. AI in autonomous driving? Doable, but the legal questions...ähm to difficult. AI in hard working jobs...no, AI is just smoke and cannot do real work. But AI making music, art etc....easy.
