As a 26 year old you need to start including this age range on a generational level, and it such much bigger than just the younger ages struggling. The never ending reality that some of us really missed out on our 21st birthdays and heartless online schooling. As well as the implications that the pandemic set many of our lives back by 2-3 years is also playing into this, it has too much social impact to ignore. The issue is complex but to just point fingers at AI (which capability is unproven still) is stealing all of the grads jobs and even the non degree working the career ladder is just wrong. The social impacts of COVID as well as the lack of companies actually wanting to treat us as more than just paper pushers and no career movement. As well as the maximum focus of all companies to bring in as much profit as possible, and betting way too early on AI LLMs will end up hurting all of us.
