Do I correctly understand that all this massive new stuff is necessary, not so much because of ordinary internet usage as we used to know it, but due to the modern miracle of AI? For some reason AI sucks MUCH more resources? Yet, we need and want AI so bad that it's worth ruining the country for? Personally I got along OK without AI and could dismiss it without a tear.
