I think artists should be asked for consent instead of an opt-out. I think the whole 'oh, you should tell us if you don't want your art used, otherwise we'll just scrape your page' is really scummy. If a person would be asked for consent for their images being put in a database, people like the person not being able to afford a business license could use ai without it being immoral, or at least less immoral (you still have the environmental aspect).
