The simple answer is No, people with no work will have a range of problems, it affects self esteem and causes psychological issues notwithstanding this constant barrage of something for nothing from the right wing. automation will create wealth and should give everyone a better standard of living not just the takers at the top who need to get off thier high horse and address the huge wealth inequality they've generated while keeping the population under control with a prison system which is completely out off the rails with incarnation rates 3/4+ times those in Europe.
