As someone who graduated with a web development degree in 2024; this is satisfying. There hasn’t been much incentive to keep pushing for that industry when I need food today.
However, seeing companies fall face first after trying to artificially outsource skilled workers makes me feel like there is a possibility of re-entry, maybe after learning how to clean up AI slop on top of other core competencies.
