I'm sure some AI artists will do well and people will go to see them -- but personally I like the lore. I like finding out where bands are from, how they came together, their process --- there's a lot more that goes into music than just the sound or lyrics.
You could take a typical song like "I Was Alive" by Beartooth and think ... yeah this is just some pop rock. But dive deeper into the discography and see Caleb's history with self-loathing, substance abuse, and his struggle growing up in a band that was hated by many of his idols in the scene. Then when you see him live he's in the middle of the crowd playing acoustic giving a speech about his sobriety and new found self love.
There's just some things AI can't replicate.
