Taken at face value, a human driver would most likely not have had time to process what was happening and stop in time. But I would suggest people DONT take it at face value. Just as importantly, automated cars use bloody laser tomography and shouldnt be moving faster than it can safely react to the seen environment. Self driving cars dont just see in visible light. Uber have been busted using all sorts of shady, dubious, amoral and ILLEGAL practices right across the globe. If they offer up some video evidence, anyone who trusts them and takes it at face value is ignoring their track record.
