the people saying current copyright law shouldn't exist aren't proposing a scenario where artists go into poverty and get their work stolen from by corporations (that already happens regardless) and end up creditless(which also happens regardless), the current copyright and legal system does not protect individual creators because even contesting copyright violations by corporations costs a huge amount of money to begin with, which is why AI corporations have been going along with their theft for years now
the talk at the end abt the "no copyright law" stance was pretty misrepresentative of what the ppl actually mean when they say that
