I agree 1000% that free college for all would be great... Except... After years and years of NAFTA and all the manufacturing jobs going off-shore, the U.S. is left with ONLY McDonald's type service industry jobs (and they've done their damnedest to off-shore any technology related jobs that were associated with them) so what will happen if everyone gets a FREE college education, instead of +200% of the number of STEM graduates that currently exists (current estimates -- only differing between +100% and +200% OVER the number of qualified people needed to fill these jobs -- Silicon Valley's definition is someone who'll work for 23K a year, and when they want a raise, "oh it's time to find another 23 year old who'll work for 20K, and send the other guy packing") we'll have a glut of people with master's degrees fighting over McDonald's jobs. Where was Obama when we needed someone to fight for our manufacturing jobs...? Every Single Manufacturing Jobs has 10 or 100 other high paying jobs associated with it...!
