I think you're right. However, I think that also this is likely to cause, at least for some people like me, to just "disengage" from a lot of media consumption. I already feel myself less interested in using reddit because I suspect so much of recent posts to just be AI generated. I find myself clicking out of youtube videos more and more if I suspect AI was used. Ultimately I think over a long enough time-frame many people are just going to check-out of most internet/media altogether, just value "real experiences" more and more.
