One sub-group it will be interesting to see the impact of possibly increasing AI substitution on will be traders in the finance markets... Arguably everything about the deployment of tech into the Finance industry these past few decades has been about getting the exploitable information quicker than the the next person, human makes the decision and makes the trade, he profits particularly and his company profits too assuming that the trading teams collectively perform profitably (and yes "he" is a pointed choice of pronoun). When AI can replace humans for those aspects what's left? Unless AI has been trained to do insider trading or market manipulation through the propagation of mis/dis-information then one could argue that AI will slaughter criminality in the markets and eliminate a significant amount of wealth generation through it, so will it be able to counter that loss with greater lawful earnings or will it in fact be unable to do so and thus lead Finance houses to not deploy AI so readily because they cannot exist as they want without criminality?
