But the main point here is that a Corporation will usually use information they collect to better sell you stuff. They're not attempting to make your life miserable or force your obedience. The government uses it to coerce your obedience and can and will throw you into a literal cage or kill you for disobeying. The threat they pose is of an entirely different class. I wonder which one should be more concerning. Hmmmmm. If you're genuinely more concerned about, say, Amazon or Apple having facial recognition tech than the U.S. government, you're not paying attention at all.
