exactly. they object to ai on the grounds of religious fanaticism instead of logic and reasoning.
"human touch" "soul" "genuine artistic struggle". what are these, but cultural judgements of a product? why is duchamp's fountain or a child's scribble considered art but images from a diffusion model are not? why do people openly accept pornography as art, but hold different standards to anything made with ai?
they dont really care about beauty or anything good. they want to be in artist in their narrow religious framing
