@SteveForteGMR indeed, you have oversimplified it so much that the comparison became absurd. AI image generation, as well as the rest of AI technologies, are an insane technological achievement and development. And that's completely independent from unethical companies using that to create products that harm artists. The theoretical basis of traditional search engines have little to nothing to do with AI algorithms.
