ChatGPT actually does understand morals and ethics, or at least was coded that way. It's given me very straightforward advice and always promotes being honest on a fair level (not unkindly). I was worried about it at first, but if it continues that way, we are actually better off as humans if many people are using it. It reminds people not to present inaccurate data at work and to be truthful in their relationships, and to not just believe everything you read on Facebook.
