For real though. I mean, no one on earth knows how to robustly align AI with anything, so by default we just get an uncontrollable superintelligence that optimizes the planet for its favorite thing and destroys humanity in the process... but also, if we did solve intent alignment, we could just have a global tyranny instead. So that's not great.
