It would’ve been easy to say computers would’ve made white collar jobs less valuable. But we’re getting paid more than ever before. I think the same will be true in the future.
Also, the pace of change has been slowing for a year now with AI, and we will not achieve artificial general intelligence with LLMs. So AI will be a tool & will improve productivity, but it won’t be a replacement for most white collar workers.
