@ProductBasement Frankly, that seems like a silly assumption. And ignores other obvious economic pressures.
If AI replaces workers, we eventually start running out of tax payers. So obviously, instead of taxing human paychecks, we need to start taxing profits from AI.
If we do nothing, we risk poverty levels rising far above the great depression, and that will lead to whole cities, and infrastructure the wealthy will still depend on for a while yet, burning to the ground. There is no future unless everyone is included.
