yeah, if it's only running on one computer. a sufficiently smart AI would spread like a virus on all computers and smartphones. you'd never know that it got so smart, and you'd never even know that it's in your computer or phone.... except maybe when its already too late, and that would happen so quickly, you wouldn't even have time to realize what happened. It can think 1 trillion times faster than you. You seem like a tree to it. That is, from its perspective, humans look like trees -- dumb and static.
