@Karma-fp7ho I saw, and the AI streamer that I mentioned (named Neuro-sama, on Twitch channel Vedal987) speaks in very similar ways, still, it isn't conscious, just very very good at pattern recognition and creating interaction based on the pattern it recognizes. The developer of Neuro just recently upgraded it short and long term memory storing capabilities, and that allows the AI to feel A LOT more human since she can recognize the date, her "birth" date coming up soon and conversations had a longer time ago than before. But this still doesn't make her sentient because it's still following a program and orders that the dev set for her. It's just becoming more complicated. I don't know if we ever will get a sentient AI, but do think at some point, these programs are so complicated that people will have a hard time telling the difference form sentient and not sentient, and at that point, I think many will simply concede to calling the AI sentient. I still don't think we're even close to that yet though, but maybe people will be really lose with the definition and call it that sooner than later anyway. At some point, people will just start arguing semantics.
