@24Karlo Here's a better statement: theft would be distributing the original works or just making edits. AI does neither: it doesn't make or save any copies of the originals, it merely uses them as data to make an algorithm to imitate what its seen from dozens or hundreds of samples, like a human brain does it.
Everything it churns out is an original piece, which means it's categorically not theft. Artists only own the original pieces they make. Even if an AI imitates an artstyle it's still not theft since nobody can own an art style, no matter how original.
